CLAHRC West has delivered more than 100 courses to over 1,000 participants since May 2015, reaching a diverse range of staff in local organisations including many from commissioning organisations. The training programme included targeted workshops for the commissioning sector to promote the use of evidence and evaluation in decision-making.
We are exploring the value and impact of CLAHRC West training courses delivered to staff in our partner organisations, looking ahead to the transition from CLAHRCs to Applied Research Centres (ARCs). As part of this, we are conducting an anonymous online survey to help us understand how the training programme has contributed to an evidence culture in clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) in our area, and to help us shape our future training plans. Find out more about the survey by downloading the participant information sheet (PDF), or get in touch with one of the team.
The survey will soon be available via internal CCG newsletters. If you work in a CCG in the CLAHRC West area, we would love to hear from you. If you have any contacts in local CCGs, do encourage them to respond to the survey. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and will be open until at least 27 March 2019.
If you are not part of a CCG, we will soon be in touch about getting your views as part of the wider study to evaluate the impact of the CLAHRC West training programme.
