Join the West of England Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) and colleagues from across the region at the fifth Local Learning System on 9 October 2019 (rescheduled date from 25 September 2019). This is an opportunity to interact and discuss with colleagues working to improve maternal and neonatal care across the local maternity systems, and a forum for local improvement to thrive.
The aim in the local learning system is to inspire improvement projects, act as an encouragement network learning and sharing from each other, and give attendees all the tools they need to go back to the shop floor and make that improvement project happen.
The Local Learning System is part of the three year National Maternal and Neonatal Health Safety Collaborative, whose mission is to create and embed the conditions for all staff to improve the safety and outcomes of maternal and neonatal care by reducing unwarranted variation and provide high quality healthcare experience for all women, babies, and families across England.
The West of England AHSN would like to invite representation from across the maternity and neonatal workforce particularly frontline doctors, midwives, nurses, support workers, as well as commissioners, and women and their families.
Please bring a “plus one” – a colleague not familiar with QI or MatNeoQI collaborative – to encourage education, information sharing and encouragement.
This event is open to all across the West of England region and Somerset including services in Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Swindon, Gloucester, Stroud, Cheltenham, Bath, Wiltshire, Taunton and Yeovil.
