Michelle Farr

Michelle is part of the Ethnography team and is currently working on two projects: ‘Improving access to primary care’, evaluating a online tool that supports patient access to GPs; and ‘Evaluating the acceptability and effectiveness of a new care pathway tool for secondary mental health care’.

Michelle has a background in sociology and public services management. She has 11 years of qualitative research experience within a wide range of public services including health, local government, and third sector organisations. She has a strong interest in collaborative and participatory research in public services, working with service users and staff to improve services and co-produce research. Michelle has recently conducted an independent evaluation of a knowledge mobilisation project that facilitates commissioner researcher collaborations.
